Sunny. So put solar panels up. Very slow to charge. Only got to about 30% when I left the campsite. Took the Brompton.

Today is the day I repaired Uncle Chris's bookcase which had been completely shaken apart! Used the middle isle Jute tape to bind it - knew it would be useful!

Nice ride into Dresden but felt like it was all downhill (it was). Was hard on the Brompton on the way back. Particularly as I had picked up some beer and coffee drinks (should have packed more - no need to boil).

Really need a comfortable chair as well - this just isn't!

Dresden is very nice but you can see where they have rebuikt post WWII.

Found an Irish Bar (Shamrock) and managed to get on the WiFi - but no power. They wanted to lock my phone in some cabinet and charge me 1 Euro for it. No thanks.

Hopefully the pictures I need will be backed up to Google. Looking at Google Photo statistics I'm around the 172,000 mark.

Cycled around Dresedn took a few pictures but didnt go in any buildings.

Did take my laptop hoping to get power but didnt take the power or a mouse! (which I cant find at the moment?).

Top Tip: Buy beer in bottles not cans - the deposit on glass is 0.08 while its 0.25 cents on cans.

I'm collecting them in the back of the van - bet when I get to the Czech republic they just lob them in the bin... must be a cross border industry here?

Thumb still hurts from where I changed the tyre on my bike a few weeks ago. Might need some treatment before I can play much table-tennis.

Need to keep an eye on the big battery... shouldn't have emptied it like that when I charged the eBike - schoolboy error. Should have a charge and 1/2 out of a 1200w battery.. though it was at 70%ish.

Got back to the campsite @ 3.20 ish and immediately put the solar panels back out. Also took one of those caffeine pills I have for emergencies. The slight headache I've been experiencing is caffeine withdrawal!

Nice and warm now. Would be good to get the battery back up to @ 75%. Actually reached closer to 81%.

Nice cycling couple (on a tandem pulling a child trailer!) arrived. Offered them a chair. They didnt take it.

Went to the campsite restaurant and had a small salad and Gypsy steak (Pork). Massive quantity of food (glad I had the small) but it was really good.

Strange older guy cycling/camping (not me) in the corner of the field. Saw him in Dresden sitting on a bench. Bit weird. Just cycled off with a couple of empty cans - probably to get the money back.

Gone very dark here now. Thunderstorms coming!

Called Ludlow Family. Video call as managed to join the campsites WiFi.

Think it's going to be wet in the morning. Can see lightning in the distance.

Big battery is saying it can charge the iPhone for something like 40+ hours. Would still like a bigger one for multiple eBike charges.

Hopefully my supplier can provide (though it may have to go back). Its 65kg in weight - thats 1 Eleanor.
