Sunny!

Yep Sunny I'll say that again!

Tent has dried out completely. It was cold in the night so used both the duvet and my Dry Robe but I didnt have to get in the Selk bag.

Boiled some water on the gas (not the electric ring) and made an Oat Burst and hot coffee. The Oat Burst which Andrew swears by had the consistency of sick - tasted ok though.

Even used my Mum and Dads Old table. I've used it before. For some reason my Dad turned it inside out... I can't remember why.

Tidied up around the van, hung the washing out and then had a shave and shower. No coins just lovely hot water.

Left the campsite around 10.00 am. on Betsy the Brompton (all bikes need a name). I was much quicker getting into Prague this time as I didn't get stuck down any back streets that had been closed for road works. So from the campsite to the Old Square was @ 20 minutes.

Going to try and go to all the places you should visit in Prague. The Old Square, Astronomical Clock, Jewish quarter etc.. There is a lot to see and I can see why people do long weekends here. You can people watch for hours. Loads of American tourists in the centre. If anything its a bit too touristy for me.

Stopped for a brunch which came with a beer. I didn't refuse. Breakfast with a beer less than £12 in quite a touristy spot.

Then cycled out into the normal parts of Prague (along the river though) and came across the normal Starbucks, McDonalds, KFC etc.

Oh and I managed to get money out on my Monzo card - first time. I did think I'd need about 2000 as I'm going to eat well and get a haircut. The ATM gave me a single 2000 Czech Crown note - I was so delighted when it opened.

2000 Czech Crowns is about £68 thats going to be accepted in Starbucks isnt it!

Managed to break it at the brunch place but he wasnt happy. Nor was I with the pre-applied service charge (even if it was less than £2).

I think I've found a place for a haircut (Google is your friend).

Barbers is a bit posher than I would normally go to but I'm too fluffy at the moment and look more like the eccentric old man than I would like.

Anyway I'm currently sitting in the middle barber chair with my phone charging while they cut and dry on either side of me.

Offered me coffee or water while I waited - wow wish they would do that in the UK. My appointment is for 13:45 so I've got about an hour to wait.

Then I think I'll find a nice sunny spot and grab a beer and watch the world go by.

Phones do charge slowly here it must be because they are only 110V?

Tomorrow I'm moving onto Bratislava in Slovakia (it's not far - a couple of hundred miles).

However, the Indonesian Brompton Club I met in the Old Square (I kid you not) said there werent many cyclists there.

They danced round the circle of Bromptons and asked if I'd join them so I did - they also gave me an Instagram account they upload to so I'll watch that.

So I'll probably only stay 1 night and then head onto Budapest where I'm planning on staying a couple of nights.

Prague is great though apart from not understanding a word of what people say.

Fortunately the people I tend to interact with, bar folk, computer people have enough English to get by and Google Translate is your friend.

Very posh this barbers I can feel a hair wash coming on :) and something for the weekend.

Lots about the Euros on TV but I'm not getting the gist of it... I think they are talking about the preliminary teams.

Cycled back to the campsite and along one of the rivers - very nice cycle path here with loads of cyclists. Signposted at least 19km away.

Back at the campsite it was really busy as they were hosting some orienteering event.

Another shower as I was surprisingly dusty from my cycle around Prague then back to the Campsite restaurant to try their delicacies.

I got Google Translate to do its business on what they had up on the wall and it came back with deep fried parcels... it was what was in the parcels that interested me!

Have a guess?
